During this year's Stockholm Design Week, we invited our guests to experience design through a different lens—one of touch and taste.
Together with Yuko Ono, Sweden’s first certified tea counsellor, we transformed our showroom into a serene space where visitors immersed themselves in the world of Japanese tea culture, guided by a true master in the craft. Tea Malmegård from the restaurant Doma heightened the sensory journey by creating a selection of exceptional afternoon tea bites and pastries. To fully embrace the tactile nature of our product, we removed all furniture and had our guests sit directly on our made-to-measure rugs. The experience highlighted the unique textures, depth, and rich colours of Bolon rugs and created a seamless blend of tradition and innovation, Japan and Sweden, touch and taste.
