EXODUS: A JOURNEY BEYOND REALITY
Some encounters seem predestined, parallel paths running side by side, almost touching but never quite meeting - until the moment they finally intertwine. For years, JoAnn and Luca travelled side by side without ever truly crossing paths, living between Italy and Sweden, sharing inspirations, references, and friendships. Today, the perfect opportunity to collaborate has finally arrived: Bolon.

For Milan Design Week 2025, they have teamed up to realise EXODUS: A Journey Beyond Reality. Set in a remarkable location in the heart of Milan - with breathtaking frescoes, a charming orangerie, and a courtyard exuding the essence of Milanese elegance - EXODUS is more than an installation. It is a parallel world, a fantastical ecosystem where Bolon’s textile flooring comes to life, morphing into mysterious creatures.

44 Spazio, curated by George Sowden, one of the most influential designers of the 20th century and a member of the historic Memphis group, is known as a creative multifunctional space for art and design in Milan. From April 7th to 11th, doors will open to showcase groundbreaking novelties by Sowden, SCP, and Abet Laminati. We are proud to seamlessly complement the exhibition’s vibrant, geometric, and playful aesthetic with some of our most impressive and bestselling collections: Artisan, Now and BKB.
