CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accounts) a global accreditor for accounts, set iDEA the challenge of completely redesining their workplace and working culture. The aspiration was for an environment that moves away from a typical accountancy feel, to instantly connect with clients and students visiting the office. To supplement the agile working environment, collaborative spaces had to be strategically integrated within the office space. The largest and most important of these spaces was the reception area, which functions as a typical reception, stay cafe, informal soft meeting area and hot desk space, as well as a flexible 20 person boardroom. The space celebrates 377 square metres of vibrant Bolon Botanic Lotus stripes and Silence planks.
