When the renowned pS Arkitektur designed Skype’s new offices in Stockholm, (Münchenbryggeriet), Bolon’s Botanic, BKB and Spektra collections were chosen for certain areas. “I’m trying to find materials where a standard product can be used to create something unique and appropriate for the location. One of the conceptual ideas in this project was to visualise a network of interconnected nodes (in the same way that Skype connects people). For the floors, we chose to convert this network in triangular fields of colour,” explains architect Mette Larsson Wedborn. The architectural firm pS Arkitektur is working with a wide range of projects – from private housing to office furniture, and focuses on converting the client’s brand into colours, shapes, functions and feelings.
