Located in the Helsfyr area in central Oslo is the new building for UDI, the Norwegian
Directorate of Immigration. Architects at Lund+Slaatto created a modern and playful
exterior with reflecting aluminium panels, orange window frames and panels of light ash. A colorful interior and social areas and low maintenance was a wish from focus groups with employees of UDI. Their wish was met and resulted in each floor having its own identity in order to create a diverse interior experience. Besides custom colors, 2800 square meters Bolon flooring with Create Inducto, Elements Walnut and Artisan Denim, to name a few, was selected.
“We believe that only Bolon could deliver the perfect flooring for these areas.”
- Torunn Petersen, Interior architect Lund+Slaatto
