INSPIRATION

Four hospitality projects you need to see

They say you can only judge someone after walking a mile in their shoes but how about walking on someone's floor? The Bolon project portfolio covers almost every type of hotel, from luxurious sun-lit getaways to remote cabins deep in the woods. Here are a selection of hotel projects that makes us proud.

Citybox Danmarksplass is a hotel designed by the inhouse Citybox architects. The hotel features 1700 square meters Bolon flooring, Artisan Slate and Artisan Jade, together they create a soft and durable hotel environment. Situated in Solheimsviken in Bergen, the hotel features a soothing, light and inviting interior environment combined with stunning views of the water and surrounding areas.

In the planning of the new and sophisticated Kimpton Da’An, Neri&Hu welcomed influences of Taiwan, both historically and culturally to connect the hotel’s design to its geographical context. 2500 square meters of Bolon by Jean Nouvel No. 3 has been used to give rooms an architectural, linear design that matches the emerald wall-colour perfectly.
